will certainly stay here again
The room had a tv, refrigerator, and air conditioning that unfortunately didn't work , a bummer. The balcony view of Lake Garda was beautiful. Staff in the restaurant worked hard, but sometimes it was hard to get attention. The dining experience included decent food choices, but it could've been hotter.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The staff was helpful enough (even the gloomy owner did his best to smile back when greeting us in the morning), the room was really big and comfortable, very clean, the bathroom fixtures were all functioning well. The lake view was magnificent and relaxing. Parking is no problem, and it is free of charge. But if you travel by car keep in mind that traffic can be very intensive, and it takes about 1 hour or more to get to the highway. Some evenings there was a live music, so if you do not want to explore the nearby towns and restaurants, you can have a nice time in the hotel.
Breakfast was really, really poor. Even the famous Italian capuccino from the machine was no better than instant + milk. As we noticed, all hotels in Italy are very greedy to serve their localties in the morning. In Greece or Spain even the cheapest hotel offers you Feta and other local cheese, Jamon, lettuces and some vegetables. The only veg in Drago were some cucumbers, not a slice of tomato! Cheese was awful, sausage tasteless. and I really cannot imagine what had to be put in the omelette to make it so tasteless! So the only eatable things were some muesli, yogurts and fruits. Location - if you really want some fresh air and more or less acceptable beach - choose Malcesine, Brenzone, Garda or some other places where the road does not go a few meters from the water. From Assenza it took us some 40 mins to walk to Malcesine, and about 20-25 mins to Brenzone, where you have a better choice of restaurants, shops and entertainment possibilities.

fine, fine, fine
The views from my room's balcony were amazing, with a perfect panorama of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains. Enjoying breakfast while soaking in the serene landscape was lovely. The outdoor swimming pool provided a refreshing escape, and I loved lounging there with a view of the garden area that felt mad really like a tranquil oasis.
would recommend ❤️😍

We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. We reported the fridge in our room was not working and the next day it was replaced. We loved the pool area, it was very relaxing. Breakfast was good - lots of choice. On our last day we left before breakfast and were given a more than generous lunch to take with us. Thank you for a relaxing holiday Hotel Drago.

Staff were friendly and helpful. My son drop a pair of eye glasses behind the shower and one hotel staff was very helpful to get it back for us. I think he worked at the reception. He recognized that the eye glasses were much needed and my son could not function without them. He had to get a ladder and tied two ski poles together with a hook to retrieve the glasses. It took him a bit of time and he did not give up. He worked up a sweat and we really appreciated it. A big thank you to him. Break fast was good.
We found the hotel in need of a few improvements - beds were soft especially in the middle, and mini fridge did not work. We were told to get ice from the bar and got only a few cubes even asking a second time. It seems like they were trying to safe money by giving fewer ice cubes. We did not appreciate having to pay extra for air conditioning when all others included it in their prices. It seems cheap and a money grab.

The views from the balcony were nothing short of lovely. The dining experience featured a good variety of fresh organic fruits and delicious pastries, though while the overall food quality was excellent, vegetarian options were limited, which could be a challenge for some diners. The air conditioning was often insufficient. The dining area could become quite crowded, complicating the mealtime experience.

Hotel drago has fine views of the lake that you can enjoy right from your balcony. The location is great, being close to a beautiful spot by the water. The staff in the restaurant work really hard and do their best to manage the busy dining area.
a little more flexibility in dealing with guests would have been nice.

The room I stayed in was spacious and offered a lovely view of the lake. While the food options were decent, I found the menu to be quite limited, which can be improved. The dining area felt a bit crowded during mealtime, which hindered the experience somewhat.

Fantastic views from the balcony, though veggie dining options were limited.

missingWrote a review on 30 Junfine viewsspacious roomsgood storageair conditioning
Fine views from the room balcony provided a perfect overview of both the mountains and Lake Garda-you even get to enjoy this while lounging by the pool. The accommodation features generous cupboard storage in the fairly spacious rooms alongside well-sized bathrooms.
Air conditioning policy leaves much to be desired. It doesn't get turned on until late June, forcing you to sweat it out during warmer weather, which some might find a bit inconvenient. The dining space felt overcrowded during meal times. Noise from external traffic can be bothersome, especially if you are in a room with a lake view, disrupting the peaceful vibe after a long day. The lack of vegetarian options is a noticeable shortcoming in the meal offerings.
